Boone has not figured out the water for Daisy. The proposed additional well only makes the water quality worse. We need to be proactive and put our money into the water treatment,eliminating as many nitrates as possible. That I will support. Unfortunately knowing that Daisy is getting water with higher levels of nitrates from Boone makes me think twice about consuming their products. The city of Boone has a moral obligation to the residents and approving this is pure negligence!

My main concern is environmental, and not just water conservation. Wildlife is negatively affected by the noise data centers generate and our state has been gutted enough for development.
Besides, I think Boone should listen to its citizen's concerns, but I don't think that's necessarily important to those in charge currently.

#2 spund emissions. Dara centers produce higher frequency of sound emissions that is continuous and not only destroys hearing, it increases mental health issues, destroys more nature, wildlife, insects, birds, mamals, n etc.

We need a moratorium and public accessible information with true pro and cons. A small group should not have power to decide as they are pushing to. It's fairly obvious it is not wanted by other cities and counties that have put data centers on hold.
