Noise pollution. Closed loop systems use chemicals to inhibit rust/corrosion. So while closed loop sounds nice, the reality is WHEN the system breaks, those cancer causing chemicals are now released and the people of Boone suffer.

I work in the Boone Business Park and think this is a horrendous idea. If Ames didn't want it, why is it ok to push it on Boone?

Nobody wants data centers in Boone, for all sorts of environmental, financial, and quality of life reasons. I live in Ames now, but grew up in Boone. We already drove Light Edge out of Ames, so I know we can do the same thing here.

Our water already sucks... We don't know the long term effects... We do not need it... Every town around us is doesn't want it, why would we?

Why is this even question or being considered?! Data Centers are horrible for environment & for human health! It pollutes water, land, air, the white noise as well. There was many cases where us farmers who had to deal with bad water or drought after monster data center build on land near us. Our farm land need to be clean & safe. We don't want to poison people! What the heck is wrong with ceo those rich elites!?! If they want data center so badly then why don't they build it in their backyard?

Not only do days centers drive up utilities. Their loud! That droning sound makes people sick. Ask people who live near wind turbins. And look up the noise pollution they make. I can hear the races in boom, in Ogden. That noise from these things travel! Why is there suddenly a needed for these things all over the USA we are not the only state dealing with these.

Data centers are bad for the environment and the people living in those environments. They use massive amounts of water. They don't bring in a whole lot of new jobs and give little back to the community.

Enough of these companies getting what they want and we end up paying the price!

The utility drain this building will have will effect every resident. With Daisy in progress we already have enough concerns about our water quality and supply and demand ratios. If Ames cannot support this infastructure and don’t want it - whose 5.5x the size of Boone - then Boone definitely cannot support it at all!

Because I disagree with any and all data centers as they are bad for the earth and future generations to come

We don't need more data storage to keep tabs on all of us as our freedoms continue to be taken away.

If a city like Ames didn't want it why would we. They should be better equipped to handle all the burdens.

Im so sick of our water being poisonous and our electricity prices going up. Now youre telling me you want to build a usless center that we've lived thousands of years without? A center that will make prices go up and take the little bit of safe drinking water we have left? Are yall insane? We The People are going to snap and those buildings will be torn down one way or another if you make us mad enough.
