It invades our privacy

We have other needs in the community that are much more important than license plate readers that have a very low likelihood of offering serious value. This is too much like Chinese surveillance with a company whose trustworthiness is open to question.

Flock and other systems violate the privacy of citizens who have the right to travel unmolested by their government.

Why do you need facial recognition cameras where you already post cops?

I agree with others that this is a definite form of government overreach and it violates some of what are/were supposed to be our basic rights to privacy in this country. I vote yes to de-flock Monmouth IL!

Americans are having their freedom and privacy stripped away every second of the day by these cameras. It sickens me that someone would betray their fellow citizens by allowing them to be placed in our community.

Gov over reach! They should not be able to capture digital footprints of every citizen without a warrant. I have been told u can read text on people's phones from the Quality of some flock cameras. If we don't protect our rights we will have no rights.

We don't know who or how the information being gathered from these cameras are being used. I see a lot more minuses than plusses with this technology. Their usage has led to false arrests, stalking incidents and a plethora of evils due to mis-use in other commnities.
