I believe these cameras lead into a dangerous territory particularly for smaller communities like ours. The information of our movements can be twisted easily. The temptation to use the information for personal reasons is already being seen through our country. We do not need any additional Government overreach in our town.

There's a national uproar over these flock cameras. We're loosing our rights and eroding our freedoms little by little. I vote to remove all flock cameras

Anyone who has read or seen the video of the woman in Florida that was thrown in jail because police relied on these cameras should understand why they’re a danger.

We don’t need these in this little ass town. They are invading our privacy. And the cameras are doing what the cops should be doing. It’s just an easy way out for the Monmouth cops. Vote these fucking cameras out people.

I understand the reason behind having the flock cameras, but I do not agree with the government having that much control over all the citizens. Privacy is important, and there are more law abiding citizens then there are criminals. Please take the cameras down.

Live in the area and go through Monmouth daily. I disagree with flock, and all brands of surveillance equipment being used on citizens.

My privacy matters. It looks like this wasn’t even installed properly.

I never thought reading the book 1984 would ever come to fruition. Flock cameras invade our privacy and use our images and private info for nefarious purposes. Take them down.

Gov. over reach! The fact there was no vote says it all.

Because while this seems like a tool for good, there are not enough systems in place to provide a checks and balance to make it safe for all citizens.
