Monmouth doesn’t need to become a surveillance town. Three Flock license-plate cameras are recording vehicle information as people travel through our community—including residents who are suspected of absolutely nothing. The question isn’t whether technology can watch us; it’s whether we want it to. We believe Monmouth residents should decide how much surveillance we are willing to accept in our own community.
