We, the undersigned, demand the removal of Flock cameras from Warren County and Front Royal and an end to this unlawful surveillance and profiling. Flock cameras record vehicle plates, features, and occupants, then run that information through AI and flag anything out of the ordinary for local review. That means ordinary people who are simply driving to work, to church, or across county lines can be watched and treated like a problem for doing nothing wrong.

Private citizens do not deserve to be profiled and patterned this way. Our government and law enforcement agencies work for us, the people, not the other way around. When public safety tools begin tracking innocent people’s movements and behavior, they cross a line that should concern everyone who values privacy, freedom of movement, and basic constitutional rights.

This is already a growing concern across the valley, where many municipalities and counties are moving away from this kind of surveillance because their constituents are demanding better. Warren County and Front Royal should do the same.

We also call for a full audit to show whether there has been any additional abuse by public servants connected to this system. Residents deserve clear answers about how this technology is being used, who is being flagged, and whether local law enforcement is overreaching.

If someone works in northern Virginia or Maryland, or serves at a church in Maryland once or twice a week, that should not be treated as suspicious. We need common sense, transparency, and respect for the people who live and work here. Remove the Flock cameras from Warren County and Front Royal now.
