My daughter has been living on one meal as she doesn’t have time to go to roski in between classes. We have already put around 500 extra dollars for food. Also the during the weekends food options are limited.

My daughter, first year student, ran out of dining dollars in 3 weeks. I spent hundreds of dollars on door dash as Roski closes to early after her late classes and she can't get there before her 8 AM class.

My son is hungry all the time. He and the other students aren't getting the nutrition they need and deserve. This is unacceptable and he doesn't have time to eat between classes. With an increase in tuition and a decrease in food options and availability, this is not a good start to the year.

The dining situation does not reflect what we pay to attend this school. It is extremely disappointing that the school clearly does not care about us.

My freshman is skipping meals due to the inedible food at the dining hall. This needs to be rectified. And when is the new dining hall opening up? Is there a confirmed date?

This is an expensive private school in Southern California. There is no excuse for the lack of healthy, basic options. There needs to be a build your own bowl type option with healthy grains, proteins, vegetables, etc. The food offerings are unacceptable. Also, frequently nothing is open for a quick bite on a break or between classes--you need at least an hour to be able to get to Roski and eat. Dining dollars are gone--this is a massive disappointment and a terrible look for LMU.

My son is starving. The wait times are one of control and there are minimal food options for those like him that need special diets with not enough variety and healthy options. We pay way you much money for the food to be awful and no communication from LMU as to when the Liar will reopen.

As a vegetarian, the only food options I have that contain protein are a veggie qdoba bowl and a veggie burger (from both Iggy’s and Roski).

The food situation on campus is unacceptable and my daughter got food poisoning at Qdoba, which was the only place she was eating at. The meal swipe system is extremely confusing and none of the kids understand it. Other colleges have a much simpler system, and with superior food options, so we know this is an area that LMU can do better in.

Students have been served undercooked/raw chicken & meat. Students are losing weight!
Beyond safety, students have limited ability to build a balanced meal. They need more simple, customizable options where students can choose a grain/starch and add sauce, protein, & vegetables. Instead, they are out of dining dollars because they will no longer go to roski and we as parents and students are spending more $$ on top of what we’ve already paid for one of the two most expensive meal plans.

My son has lost 10 pounds since starting LMU. The meal plan is inconvenient and the food in Roski is unacceptable. He is already out of dining dollars and low on swipes, and its early October. This needs to be fixed for all students.

Please reset the dining dollars to the initial amount $ - given the lack of food options, most kids have used them up and it’s only October.

Very mismanaged dining program. Terrible temporary food and on campus places are 2+ hour wait.

Students should be able to eat and have their money equate to their meal. Food should be affordable for college students and pay off.

This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. My daughter is barely using her meal swipes because she doesn’t think the food is good or healthy, and she also feels the dining options are too far and not easily accessible. We’re paying a significant amount for a meal plan that students are simply not using. LMU needs to provide better-quality, fresh, and more convenient food options for students.

My daughter ran out of her dining dollars. When she asked me if I could add money to her account, I reviewed her One Card activity and discovered that she had also spent approximately $100 of her own money purchasing food after her dining dollars were exhausted. Today, I deposited another $500 so that she would have money available for meals.
I am extremely concerned that a student living on campus having difficulty accessing adequate, nutritious meals, causing her to loose 10lbs in 4wks.

This plan change has been a disaster. From closing the Lair BEFORE school even got out to the Lair still not being open 6 weeks in. Parents are forced to purchase a meal plan that their students can’t fully use. The options in Roski are limited and disappointing. My daughter has already run out of Dining dollars and I had to add more money to her dining plan SIX weeks into school. Something needs to change. Many students are indicating that they will be moving off campus as a result of this.
