The city government continues to " uglify" Ann Arbor. We do not need to clear cut every stand of trees in this city. Developers don't care. They take their money and move on. This is why Taylor lost the election IMHO.

Take a look at Veridian on Platt, 2857 Packard property, Scio Church by Pioneer property, both by Robinson, Platt Road across from Colonial Square,
all voted unanimous by City Council and the Planning Commission. Please tell me who these are being built for, certainly not any locals! Traffic out of control, EMPTY BUSSES we are paying for... all to promote someone's unecessary vision.

There is no other area of Ann Arbor, The Tree City, where there is contiguous greenscape and forest like Huron Parkway. Please see that it remains a "parkway!"

Driving by so many areas of town it is sad to see mounds of dirt where beautiful trees used to be. While housing is certainly a need so is the history of this town.

I drove past that woods everyday on my way to and from work, just so I could take in the beauty and peace of that land. The developers have been a generational scourge on the quality of life in A2. They need this check on their ravenous greed.

Lived in Geddes Lake for 30 years and firmly believe in preserving the environment uniqueness of the area which includes the parkway in the city.
