It’s very sad that Kevin passed away. He was a great person, and it doesn’t change the fact that his neighbour did this to him. I truly believe it was premeditated and should he do the time and be punished to the full extent of the law, regardless of Kevin‘s passing.

This person needs to be held accountable for his actions (assault with a weapon). People in his vicinity need to be protected from the risk of future injury or assault that he presents, despite the death of his victim. I believe the crown should be able to proceed with criminal charges even after the death of the victim.

This criminal act needs to be followed through to justice. It was an unacceptable violent act that needs to be taken through the court system.. setting this person free because the persona attracted is deceased is so wrong and unacceptable to Canadians. This person needs to see justice served
