Request Jesup City Council Enact a Data Center Moratorium

This Data Center will be really close to my home😳. I was opposed to mining as well. Guess what who ever approved that, I feel like they had already made their minds made up.

I do not understand why there is such a rush for a decision. Once the data center has begun construction there is no turning back. This is a very large scale project that requires time and due diligence to make an informed decision on how this will effect our town, residence and quality of life. I urge everyone involved to take the time to make an informed decision.

I support a moratorium on data centers in Jesup so our community has time to fully understand the potential impacts on our water, power, environment, infrastructure, and quality of life. This pause would allow residents to be heard, questions to be answered, and responsible regulations to be established before decisions are made that could affect Jesup for generations.

We just moved into a house right beside where this data center is being built with no prior information given. If the environmental pollution, noise pollution, power consumption issues, etc. are as bad as evidence seems to suggest, we now get to live in fear of all of these things effecting us and our young children. Now our finances are tied to this house with very few options to leave should this come to pass. Our property value will plummet instantly. And we had no say in it. Awesome. 👍

We need to verify this data center will not degrade our water and power resources. We also need to understand the noise issues for the neighborhoods close to the proposed area. Will all the tax money keep us from paying property tax or will the money be wasted on frivolous crap
