It’s very unfair to make the boys wear trousers & to keep their blazers on in this heat

I feel if nothing else children should be allowed to leave their blazers and ties at home during hot periods.

It's common sense and evidence shows children don't learn as well in hot classrooms.

It’s difficult enough to concentrate as it is without feeling constantly over heated

I also think the 6th formers should not have to do exams in a full suit this week.

Unprecedented temperatures this would are going to make normal uniform rules unhealthy and unbearable. It would be great if PE kit would be allowed for this week.

I know of many schools that allow their students to wear PE kit for the entire summer term which makes total sense, especially in view of the students looking just as smart in pe kit. In my opinion there is no good reason why students should not be able to wear shorts regardless of the time of year. It is archaic that this is not already the case.
Blazers and long skirts are equally crackers!
Come on Ashlyns, it’s time to modernise your uniform policy!!

I think common sense should prevail on the approach to uniform in hot weather and a shorts option seems logical.

Absolutely makes sense. Why make the kids uncomfortable when shorts will keep them cooler
