It’s a joke they haven’t changed it. Change it for the poor sixth formers as well it’s outrageous!!

As someone with autism and adhd the uniform is a real struggle for me and shorts would definitely benefit everyone

it’s wayyy too hot and the fact the school expects us to wear skirts past our knees, tuck our shirts in and wear blazers is crazy

Wearing PE kit makes complete sense when going through times of extreme heat. It still represents the school.

It's too hot to wear full uniform on some days. I want kids concentrating on school instead of having their minds on overheating.

It’s far too hot unsafe for children to wearing full winter uniform. Tailored shorts are acceptable in the workplace so should be at school

Lots of schools and workplaces are making reasonable adjustments for their environments this week. Requiring students to wear long trousers, ties and blazers does not seem reasonable given the weather forecast.

The girls get to wear skirts, surely letting the boys wear shorts or skirts too makes sense.

Black uniform in intense heat is a recipe for disaster and, having to take your blazer into school to be allowed to take it off is bizarre to me. Leave blazers at home and lose the ties for a few weeks, or better still, wear PE kits if more comfortable for the children.

I think the PE kit in extreme weathers is a great idea. It would be easy to implement and I think Ashlyns should do it
