As a longstanding resident of Windsor Quay, I find First Port’s lack of transparency, poor communication, questionable financial management and random approach to estate maintenance frustrating, very disappointing and disrespectful to residents.

First Port have issued several Section 20B notices to support heavy surcharges they have levied on the residents of First Port.
They have been unable to substantiate these charges and cannot identify expenditure against periods that go back at least three years.
Additionally they have failed to issue some of the notices, a crucial process on which they cannot prove delivery.
For these and other reasons, these charges need to be cancelled and monies returned to customers.

Essentially they are robbing people without any evidence of work being done. They are adding charges in 2026 that are dated in 2023 and 2024 with no information being provided and I have not received any services from them

Having recently moved to my property in Windsor quay we received a letter asking for charges loved back in 2023 having o lying completed purchase I March 2026, no explanation or breakdown as to what these fees are for, also clearly maintainance of the site is clearing not taking place where required, so this asks the question what do these additional costs relate to?

Have owned a flat in this estate for 10 years now and while the service charge goes up every year with out fail and the financial breakdown of expenses gets more opaque, nothing really gets done: A few years back they made a song and dance about all the refurbishment we will see in communal places, promised to decorate and update the carpets etc, so far only a lick of cheap paint has come about. Apparently they are responsible for window cleaning that never gets done. Regulation overdue here

I moved in a year ago i haven’t been contacted by them still. I haven’t been told about the service i will receive and how much i need to pay. My estate agent couldn’t give me any information about this company either. They just told me it’s roughly £600 a year for service maintenance. The only thing they have done so far is cut the grass which I am more than capable of doing myself and it doesn’t justify the £600 fees per year.

First Port has sent me an invoice to ask for payment for the financial year 2023. They then told me that there was an error and the payment would not be taken. They then took the payment without my knowledge and refused to refund me. Financial mismanagement is an understatement for First Port. They are allowed to do what they like, without any accountability.

FirstPort continuously raise their charges and never budget correctly, causing unwanted stress for tenants who receive outstanding payments years later.

Property has been poorly maintained, discovered when I moved in that significant patches of structural damp and mould have been growing in the front room and bedroom, it's been 3 days since I moved in and noticed it when looking closer at some of the corners of the ceiling.
