Subject: Collective Petition Regarding Pending Academic Credits, Unfulfilled Programme Commitments and Partial Refund

We, the undersigned students of the CSE Micro-Linked Programme (2024–2025), respectfully submit this petition to seek an urgent and transparent resolution concerning commitments associated with the programme.

It has been more than 10 months since the completion of the programme, yet the promised 24 academic credits remain pending. Additionally, the promised institutional email IDs ending in @ac.in have not been provided to the affected students.

Despite repeated attempts to seek clarification, students have not received a satisfactory resolution or a definitive timeline for fulfilling these commitments. The lack of clear communication has caused considerable uncertainty and raised serious concerns regarding accountability and the fulfilment of the programme's stated commitments.

We believe that students who enrolled in and completed the programme deserve transparency, timely communication, and a fair resolution.

OUR DEMANDS

1. Award of the Pending 24 Credits

We request an official explanation for the delay and a written commitment specifying the exact date by which the pending 24 credits will be awarded to all eligible students.

2. Provision of Promised Institutional Email IDs

We request written clarification regarding the non-provision of the promised @ac.in email IDs and details of the corrective action proposed by the responsible institutions.

3. 20% Partial Refund

In view of the unresolved commitments and the institutional email facility that was not provided, we request a 20% partial refund of the programme fee paid by each affected student. We ask the concerned authorities to formally review this request and communicate a reasoned decision in writing, subject to applicable programme terms and policies.

4. Fixed Resolution Timeline

We request a written response within 15 calendar days of receipt of this petition, along with a specific, reasonable deadline for awarding the credits and a clear action plan addressing the remaining concerns. We seek a firm timeline rather than further indefinite assurances.

5. Accountability and Official Communication

We request that the matter be escalated to the appropriate authorities at IIT Guwahati's Daksh Gurukul and Masai School. We also request that a designated department or official be identified to coordinate the resolution and communicate progress to affected students.

WHY THIS PETITION MATTERS

This petition is not intended to create unnecessary conflict. Our objective is to secure a fair, transparent, and time-bound resolution through constructive engagement. However, the prolonged delay and absence of a definitive response have left students concerned about whether the commitments made to them will be fulfilled.

We respectfully urge the concerned authorities to acknowledge these concerns, review the outstanding issues on priority, and provide a concrete resolution.

By signing this petition, we express our collective support for the demands outlined above and request appropriate action from the responsible institutions. Individual refund claims, where applicable, may be supported by the respective student's programme records and payment documents.

REQUESTED OUTCOME: Award of the pending 24 credits, a fixed written timeline, a formal decision on the 20% partial refund request, clarification regarding the promised institutional email IDs, and clear accountability for resolving these outstanding matters.

We request that our collective concerns be taken seriously and addressed without further unnecessary delay.

Signed,

The affected students of the CSE Micro-Linked Programme (2024–2025).

It is extremely disappointing that such an important academic matter has been left unresolved for so long. We have completed the program and deserve clear communication, accountability, and a proper resolution from the concerned authorities. We sincerely request Masai, Daksh Gurukul, and IIT Guwahati to take this matter seriously, address our concerns, and ensure that our credits are transferred to our ABC accounts without any further delay. Our academic future matters. We request the authoritie

Im in final yr of clg now I was planning to have my credits before passing so I could use them as leverage but this interdependence made me wait more than 1yr for my scores

This is a very serious issue which is not taken care of by the respective Masai and Dakshu gurukul IIT Guwahati. We are the first batch of the micro credit program in cse from iitgxmasai batch of 2024-2025 earlier we were told that we would get official ac.in email but iit rejected that and given us zoho mails which is not useful at all and now the main issue is CREDITS it's been 1.5 years since the course is completed and we didn't get our credits in our respective ABC account please hear us

This isn't acceptable. No one is holding the accountability. And it's really a waste of busy we were promised about credits , email ,iitg campus access and many more but none of them was done in the right way . Also we definitely need the partial refund for wasting our time .

Respectfully they just looted us like even when we paid fees been in regular session and still no placements and how many times we have to just clear our resume to sit for an interview it's my 12th time correcting my resume but still not a single response. Even when about giving an official iit gurukul email they divert our attention to something else they think that we don't remember. Even when we ask about credits they just say it's in the process brush Even regular clg give it after 1,2 month
