Decision Makers: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra

MHCET law aspirants gave everything they could to secure admission to the best law colleges in Maharashtra, and many achieved percentiles high enough to earn their place in some of the state’s premier law institutes. Yet their efforts have been undermined by repeated delays and poor communication from the CET cell, forcing students to waste time, energy, and resources while waiting for a process that should have been clear and fair.

The delay in the entire option form filling process created unnecessary stress from the start. When the option form finally appeared, it excluded some of the most sought-after law colleges in the state, leaving students confused and uncertain about their next steps. Instead of giving proper guidance, the response students received was little more than an oversimplified message telling them that no information was available and that they should keep checking the CET cell portal.
When the colleges did make their place in the preference list, the students had to face prolonged delays, the date for the allotment of seats was pushed away not once but thrice. Students now stand stranded, as there is no confirmation by the cet cell regarding the FINAL ALLOTMENT DATES, creating confusion, misinformation and chaos.

This process should be clear, fair, and timely. Students and families deserve honest communication, a stable schedule, and immediate confirmation of the final allotment dates so that everyone can plan with confidence and move forward without further delay.

The repeated delays in MHCET Law CAP rounds are extremely frustrating. CAP Round 1 has still not started despite multiple postponements, leaving thousands of 3-year and 5-year LLB aspirants clueless about their future. Many 3-year students have even left jobs to pursue law, while students admitted elsewhere have already started college. We urge the authorities to stop further delays, provide a clear schedule, and begin the CAP process immediately.

It's important cause its ruining mental health of lots of students in this period. And cet doesn't seem to care at all for the law aspirants! The engeering cet process is going very well cause they have big crowd but just because we law students are not a big crowd doesn't mean we shouldn't be treated like this! This is getting over the head now more than 5 months has passed since the 5yr and 3yr mhcet law exams have been conducted.

I support this petition. The delays in the MH CET Law admission process have caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty for thousands of students. We request the CET Cell to expedite the admission process, maintain transparency, and announce a clear schedule so that students can plan their academic future.

The CAP process , result , registration nothing has been on track so far the option filling it self has been delayed 4 times and delayed indefinitely the 5th time the CET is supposed to communicate and take decisions in the best interests of thr students instead they are borderline torturing the very students they are supposed to take care of

A plea to speed up the admission process. It's been constant months of delays and uncertainty and a speedy fair process is needed for the sanity of all

Whatever the cet cell is doing is an extreme level of incompetence, as someone who's eagerly waiting for a law school It's frustrating. Meanwhile my peers who went to sls, jgls and nls have already started their classes.
