Safety for people and bike riders... Perhaps change limit to 70ks as the signage that's already in place on the corner coming from airport.... Also move boulders back further for more parking and a pedestrian crossing from the side that is not an official parking lot. There is a walking track in place in between the sandunes that could be more accessible to the public with an additional entrance to the road rather than daypark 2s car park With zebra crossing 🚸 leading to the cafe.

Safety first.
Not only does this section of road need a gravel path but also needs to be speed restricted below 80kph to preserve wildlife and keep things safe for pedestrians and cyclists. The trees on the beach side of the road need to be better maintained as they encroach on the road. The road condition to the bend at Tidal Cafe is not suitable for an 80kph speed limit.
Gravel path ✅
50/60kph speed limit ✅
Verge vegetation maintenance ✅
Wildlife deterrent measures ✅

A well defined & wide pathway is very much needed in this spot. With a speed limit of 80km for much of this stretch walking on the road with prams etc is not an option!

A true hazard exists at this very busy area. Footpath definitely needed. Reduced road speed also needed

I ride my bike (6:30am) along this road and love going to Tidal. I also enjoy walking my dog around seven mile. It’s a gorgeous place and like everything, things to evolve and progress. I think it’s good to be proactive. Lower the speed limit and continuing the footpath to make the area safer for all sounds very sensible.

I frequently visit this Cafe by push-bike and find the 80km traffic from the Cafe back to Seven Mile extremely intimidating a share foot and cycle path would make life far safer for all.
