Very important especially for people with kids and prams. Walk there Everyday and will make a huge difference to safety. Also a dog poo bin at the carpark of Tidal Cafe is needed

I walk a lot around our village but never to the cafe as it is not safe to do so with speeding traffic and no walking track.

I walked from Tidal cafe to Winston Avenue a few weeks ago. It is indeed uneven, sandy, and sloping in places. The temptation is to move onto the shoulder of the road where it is more level, and this is definitely a risk. The western side of the road is not suited to prams or scooters.

Seems crazy to not have a path extend to tidal cafe and even beyond.

I’m signing because a safe, connected footpath would benefit the whole Seven Mile Beach community by making Tidal Cafe more accessible to families, children, older residents, people with disabilities, and anyone who wants to walk or ride. It would improve road safety, reduce reliance on cars, ease parking pressure, and encourage a healthier, more connected community. Everyone should be able to enjoy local amenities safely, without putting themselves at risk on a busy road.

It's the only logical solution. The side of the road is uneven, often has dead animals and will become snakey during summer. A track may also lessen the amount of cars in the small carpark too! Going through the dunes track means you are required to share the gravel road at the end with cars and then cross the busy 80km bend to get to Tidal. Please don't wait for an accident to make it happen!

For safety sake, a proper dedicated footpath is needed here so as to protect pedestrians from vehicles that travel at 80 klm along Surf Road

A footpath would make the walk much safer for children. My two have asked to walk to the cafe but so far I haven’t let them because of the lack of safety along that part of the road.
