We call on the Lviv city authorities to take urgent action to clean and restore the local river that runs through our community. Over time, litter, waste, and pollution have damaged the river’s natural beauty, harmed local wildlife, and created an unpleasant environment for residents. A clean river is not only important for nature, but also for the health, safety, and quality of life of everyone living nearby.

We ask the city to organize regular river cleanup efforts, install more waste bins near the riverbanks, improve monitoring of illegal dumping, and support long-term restoration of the river ecosystem. By taking these steps, Lviv can protect its environment, create cleaner public spaces, and show that the city values both its residents and its natural heritage.
