I have several former students residing and have had nothing but problems. My daughter was a student there and lived in these apartments. Take care of these problems as this is unacceptable and the media should be contacted.

While living in Chamisa, I have experienced several ongoing maintenance issues that have made my living situation very inconvenient. We have gone without air conditioning even after submitting multiple work orders, and we have also had repeated problems with our hot water.
Although we were told the hot water issue had been fixed, we later experienced a leak that resulted in our water being shut off again. Because of these ongoing problems, I have had to find other places to shower.

My daughter has been living in that area since she started school and they haven’t had water that’s ridiculous that they already have almost 3 months with hot water and I pay a lot for that apartment I hope that at the end of this semester they deduct from the payment if they don’t fix the water this month I’m going to have to look for a lawyer because if my daughter get sick I’m going to sue them because I said this is ridiculous about the school and nothing else is for my daughter also for the

Housing has been abysmal. Last year I got put into RGH as an UPPERCLASSMEN. Even though that was bad enough the hot water went out there as well, it was like three weeks without hot water. Then I get into Chamisa, thinking the price will be worth it. NUH UH, here I am again without hot water. Half my time at NMSU has been taking cold showers. And unfortunately I LOOOVE hot showers.

I’ve lived in building A on the 3rd floor for going on 3 years now. I’ve constantly had water pressure and heating problems, that seem to never get fixed or stay fixed. My AC also goes out and it’s even happened when I was living here over the summer. They need to fix these buildings if they are going to be charging this much.

The people at chamisa are being charged way too much to not have hot water right now. It ridiculous that theyre being charged full price for less than full accommodation. There were a plethora of other issues when they initially moved in as well that have also not been reimbursed.
