Dear Beverly Hills Community,
Despite the meaningful progress our schools have made, a group of individuals, including former political candidates, unsuccessful office seekers, and voices disconnected from the progress happening in our schools is attempting to influence how our community votes. Ask yourself why?
Beverly Hills residents deserve to make their own decisions based on facts, results, and what is best for our children and our community, not political agendas or personal grievances. A school board election should not be run across party lines, it should be based on which candidates can deliver the best results for those that matter the most, our children. Those candidates are clearly Judy Manouchehri and David Cienfuegos.
Our community deserves an honest discussion grounded in current data, documented achievements, and accountability, not outdated statistics, misleading claims, or political power struggles.
For years, our district faced stalled construction, financial uncertainty, and concerns about academic performance. Today, we are seeing real improvements and renewed confidence in our public schools.
Our students are making real academic gains. Test scores are improving, educational opportunities are expanding, and academic excellence is once again at the forefront of district priorities. Here are some statistics that are conveniently being ignored by those pushing an agenda contrary to the interests of our children:
- Beverly Hills Unified School District earned California's highest Dashboard rating in five areas
- The most recent California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress results showed the following results in the top two levels - Mathematics & Science
- BHUSD's graduation rate reached 95.7%, an increase of 4.2 percentage points
- Beverly Hills High School recorded a 67.8% University of California (UC) admission rate for fall 2025, outperforming Harvard-Westlake and Laguna Beach Schools
- Beverly Hills High School College Application Rate Increased 37%
Our bond dollars are being responsibly managed. Stronger financial oversight and greater accountability are helping ensure that the money taxpayers entrusted to the district is being spent wisely and for its intended purpose.
Construction is finally moving forward. Long-awaited school facilities have been completed, major projects are progressing, and our community is beginning to see the results of years of investment.
Our schools are strengthening our community and protecting our property values. The reputation of our public schools plays an important role in attracting families, supporting home values, and preserving Beverly Hills as one of the most desirable communities in which to live. Whether or not we have children enrolled in the district, every homeowner has a stake in the success of our schools.
These improvements did not happen by accident. They are the result of leadership, oversight, difficult decisions, and a commitment to putting students first.
We recognize that no school district is perfect and that more work remains to be done. But the answer is to build on progress, not return to uncertainty and division.
We do not need a handful of political voices telling us what to think when we can evaluate the results for ourselves.
This election should not be about political alliances, personal rivalries, or who can generate the most criticism. It should be about our children’s education, responsible stewardship of public funds, the quality of our schools, and the future of Beverly Hills.
We support Judy Manouchehri because we believe in continuing the progress our district has made and holding our elected leaders accountable for delivering results. We support David Cienfuegos because his experience will help push our success even further.

Our children are our future!!
They’re the best candidates
Judy brings experience, dedication, and a genuine commitment to educational excellence. Her thoughtful leadership, strong values, and focus on putting students first are exactly what our schools need. I’m proud to support her continued service on the Beverly Hills School Board!
Judy and David have spearheaded very positive changes in our schools, raising the bar in academics, discipline, organization and morals/ethics/ values. The district would benefit tremendously from their continued leadership.
I’m tired of seeing the lies from the other side about Judy and David and people need to know the truth before our school board is compromised by people who lack love for our schools , our students and even each other. They are bullying our most qualified candidates and bullying should have no place in Beverly Hills. What the opposing candidates have done is very telling of their characters . We deserve better!
Judy and David have a track record of impartiality, responsible citizenship, high morals and values and child/student first perspective and goal. They are role models. I would want at the leadership level when it comes to my children and the decisions that are made for them at the school level.

Before Judy, BHUSD schools had become so unorganized. There was no transparency, no organization, no honesty. But Judy has made such a positive difference. We were considering leaving to private school but now things are much better and we have decided to stay. But we need Judy and David in office to continue improving towards our community’s goals.
