Decision Makers: Nottingham City Council

The dropped kerbs in Nottingham Centre are often either not fully to the floor or non-existent, making access to some areas of nottingham dificult or even impossible for wheelchair users to travel on or through.

Travel in the roads is not at all safe for us, due to traffic.

The pavements can often be too bumpy for our chairs to move across safely too. This alongside pavement obstruction (Lamposts in the middle of the streets, bins, etc.) makes it even harder.

Even with all of this fixed wheelchairs are still far too expensive and its extremely difficult to ge funding.

Sign this petition to show support for better funding for disabled people to buy their chairs, less/no pavement obstruction and better and more dropped kerbs!

This is extremely important subject, I have a fellow colleague with mobility issues who has fallen over multiple times due to how uneven the pavements are, things need to change for the better!
