There are two basic reasons for starting an organization:

1. There is a need and the need is unity.

2. The needs are not being met - It's time to start an organization that isn't affiliated by race, color, sex, etc.

 What is the Purpose of the Organization?

The purpose of the organization is to unite members of the department and provide resources to established, newly employed, and oncoming employees.

 What will the Organization do?

*Offer mentorships to new employees to encourage them to want to learn the job and more;

*Offer mentorships to those seeking to rise in rank by succession;

*Have annual events for the entire department and their families, i.e. formal balls each year, annual cookouts, etc.

*Peer Choice Awards where we recognize each other for the outstanding achievements made.

*Community Activism - Show a strong presence in the community for more than just rescue in a time of need. The public has to know that we believe and support them before we can expect them to support our organization.

 Who is likely to join?

*Anyone who desires to promote success for themselves as well as those they work with and work for;

*Anyone who wants to be involved in a positive movement and is ready to see and make change; and

*Anyone who believes that through a new organization, a change can be made.
