Preserving Lives of young teenagers and adults to create strong and progressive communities by instilling positive values focusing on education, leadership development, health services and family support throughout urban communities. With your support we are currently seeking to reopen the old United Methodist Community Center, formally known as Rebecca William’s recreation, located at 760 Main Ave Warren Ohio 44483. The new named Preserving Lives Youth Development Center will be used as an after school care programming that will include but is not too limited to: 1. After school tutoring classes & mentoring a. Computer Literacy Classes b. Job placement & Career Development c. Youth Summer Job Programs 2. Athletics a. Year around sports programs & Leagues b. Fit and Fabulous c. Open gym 3. Leadership Development a. Thinking for a change b. Social skills c. Conflict resolution 4. Community Meetings/Gatherings We are reaching out asking members of the community to assist Preserving Lives Youth Development Organization by signing this petition to give the youth of our community some place safe to go after school –vs.- being drawn in by the life of the streets. At this time the city of Warren Ohio is in desperate need of more programs that can assist children of our community to reach for higher dreams/goals rather its in education, vocation or even sports in that matter.
