there are enough men hanging about outside the existing betting shops- making the pavement crowded and impossible to walk through - it's intimidating as they appear to 'ogle' every woman that walks by! please no more betting shops- this is ridiculous- should NOT be allowed!!
We have more than enough betting shops. Why doesn't this happen in Crouch End? Cynical exploitation of 'poorer' areas. Haringey council pls stand up for our local community!
Our high streets are blighted by betting shops. There seems to be no limits to how many betting shops a small area can accommodate? Would it not be better to use shop spaces for the kind of goods or services that serve the whole community rather than a betting shop that makes the whole community poorer?
We already have far too many betting shops in Wood Green. In my work at the Salvation Army I have seen lives torn apart by gambling addiction. The numerous betting shops already prey on the most vulnerable and encourage betting in young people. Don't let this happen.
No need for another betting shop, this is something to do with them only being allowed 4 of those roulette machines per outlet, so they just have loads of betting shops bundled together!
How can this application even be considered given the proximity of the other gambling shops and the issues they already cause to the local community!?

Converting this handsome building into a betting shop would be a disaster. It is a large handsome corner building in good condition. PP signage would wreck it. Also the area is saturated with betting shops already.
