Potterton E168 error

This petition aims to unite everyone that has suffered from the nightmare of an E168 error code on boilers manufactured from Potterton and Baxi. With the company refusing to accept any responsibility for this common fault, consumers are forced into expensive repairs and call out charges. Installers can not identify the problem because of the poor diagnostics capability on the boiler. If you have suffered from this problem, please sign this petition.

  • Margaret Duguid My 92 year old Mum's boiler is 5 years old and the engineer has tried several new parts. The fault showed up again within minutes and hours of apparently being fixed. There is obviously an inherent fault and Baxi/Potterton really should be made to fix the faulty boilers, replace them or refund the cost. They are an absolute disgrace.

  • Darren Price had the pcb and the CH temp sensor changed so far, still getting E168

  • Anonymous Been getting this fault for a while and now the boiler has stopped working. Hadn't realized that this was such an issue. Will let the repairer know this time
