Boiler just 6 yrs old. Spent over £360 in parts and labour on an E125 fault over heating fault. Boiler was fine for a few hours and now daily shows E168. New PCB at another hundred odd quid ? Or new boiler ? Seems like an easy choice to me.
My 92 year old Mum's boiler is 5 years old and the engineer has tried several new parts. The fault showed up again within minutes and hours of apparently being fixed. There is obviously an inherent fault and Baxi/Potterton really should be made to fix the faulty boilers, replace them or refund the cost. They are an absolute disgrace.

Had a error E168 on my baxi he 24 boiler after 3 years changed the circuit board but still comes on every now and again.

E168 appeared for no apparent reason. Fitter did not resisted the boiler so only 2 years guarantee instead of 5. Heateam call out £300, not sure what next?
Getting up with a cold house is no fun in December - error code showing E168 on a 12month old boiler. Reset and it goes away - very annoying.
I had this baxi boiler for 5 years the E168 comes very often I turn system off and reset then it works for a while I feel baxi must change the PCB for free as it is defect for most of the baxi due tech boilers

I have had this EI68 code pop up and the boiler is only just over a year old ( Potterton Titanium 40 kw. You don't expect faults like this on a year old boiler !
Had my Potterton boiler fixed and now got error code e168 and can't get rid of it. Boiler man costs £65 + vat an hour and I cannot afford to keep getting him out !

How can Baxi who make the boiler ,not give a conclusive fault diagnosis to the faulty part that requires replacement. Money making scheme.
It's an absolute nightmare. LooKing to replace my boiler next year. My in laws has there boiler for over 15 years and not so many things went wrong as mone. .
This is a pretty poor show. A catch-all error code that menas "there was an error, but now I've been reset I don't know what it was" helps nobody. This smacks of lazy engineering. Not puttting it in the manuals, though, is plain patronising.

Baxi does not stand behind product at all...worse in USA. Will never be tricked into purchasing another one.
E168 appearing after a replacement of regulator pressure tank and valve.. while this in hot water but no central heating for 2 weeks until engineer could revisit. The diagnosis at that point was the diverter valve so this was replaced at this point the boiler was retested but still no central heating so a good look revealed the loose wire which was then reconnected. After the engineer left the CH was working but an hour later E168 again. Still happening now 6 weeks later.
Baxi Megaflo System 32 HE giving E168 for weeks now. Replaced pump, heat exchanger and PCB to no avail, well over £1k spent and still this error usually a few times per day.

After having been a former Employee of the company, I quickly realized the root cause of the Issue and when I spoke out they just tried to silence me and brushed it under the carpet, faced with discrimination I picked up and left. I'am an electronics engineer and understand the the problem well.

It is a known manufacturing fault so why do we as consumers have to pay for it to rectified. Item not fit purpose under sale of goods act. Baxi should rectify this problem for nothing.
