I have been Abused by the temple president and senior devotees time and time again at Iskcon Durban. I was told I am not senoir nor a big shot at the temple hence I must tolerate and keep quite against such incidents

Hare krishna, I have been failed many times by Iskcon authorities in Durban South Africa. Being born a devotee i still experienced child abuse. The incident happened at the temple and was caught on temple security footage. Authorities refused to give me the video and destroyed It when child welfare requested it. Recently my younger brother was also abused. My Mother was also abused and devotees tell us 'it's our Karma' and that we must be 'tolerant'. The level of corruption in the movement is disappointing. And by tolerating such leaders and abuse we actually support and encourage their continuous disgusting behavior. Being SHAMELESS These ABUSERS still want to be reinstated with full support from present authorities. Being born into the movement we take to Krishna consciousness without doubt and the worst thing iskcon can do is ignore our welfare. Therefore, please continue this program. You have given me courage to not remain silent. And surely Krishna will give you all His blessings because he didn't tell Arjuna to be tolerant but to fight for justice. Even the lord takes it as his duty to protect women and children.

The known, actively supported, and on-going direct participatory abuse of children by the ISKCON (so called) leadership is not only immoral, illegal, but also utterly self-shameful. This needs to be and has to be globally exposed and eradicated, and the perpetrators prosecuted accordingly.

Hare Krishna. Im an aspiring servant from Kolkata- the birthplace of Srila Prabhupada. This video was an eye opener for me and surely for many. i have signed the petition but have less hopes. i urge everyone to come forward and devise some plan of action which can bring positive result to STOP any form of CHILD ABUSE. I wish that we all can collaborate and collectively do something to save future young generations. So, is there anything we can do practically - 1. having no power in front of GBC members, and 2. all of us being located in different geographical locations. How can we raise our voices, just by signing petition or by raising our concern to a bonafide authoritative person, but even he wouldnt be able to to take a stand against such power in position. We can't even publicly speak out this issue. tAt last, i really appreciate your suggestions to bring a change. I completely agree with the suggestions given at last in the video. Apart from that, my only opinion is that ISKCON should shut down schools/gurukuls and focus more on preaching and temple activities. The victims are losing faith in Krishna and Prabhupada's mission. Since teaching and managing children by swamis is getting out of control, it is better to completely close the gurukuls. Your servant.

Two sons attended NV gurukula, oldest attended one yr Vrindavan gurukula. Oldest son Nrisimha (Eli Long) most affected, he died in 2005 NYC destitute and drug-addicted due to long standing PTSD from abused childhood.

Iskcon and GBC Leadership must be deposed immediately.

When will Iskcon and devotees get rid of the stupid, unmature gurus and their selfish, lowclass system?
