The last place illicit sex should take place is in Vrindavana, what to speak of in the Gurukula.
When I was in Vrindavana in 1986 there was so many scandals
though it was never publicly discussed by ISKCON managers as it should have been.
ISKCON does a bad job to expose and expel such persons.
In 1986 when I had met a former Gurukula child, from Mayapure he was sexually abused by Bhavananda ,Satadhanya and Nitai Chand all ISKCON sannyasis at the time.I was so enraged Harikesa was such a lowlife, that when I discussed with him about Bhavanandas sexual abuses of children, he said ,shut up in a polite way or Bhavanandas disciples will kill you. Jayapataka Swami never reacted also .To this day Bhavananda is allowed in Mayapure and given a position even .They know these things, but say oh Bhavananda is such a good devotee.Sometimes he has even been given classes though he still send homosexual messages to male devotees on facebook.When will the GBC wake up?Some matajis also have told me how Kirtananda and Radhanath Swami forced them to marry at age 13 -14 and 15 and where sexually abused by their socalled husbands (child molesters and pedophiles really ) and who is talking about Varnas asrama in ISKCON?How about just having some brains? But I think ISKCON child protection is properly trying to still tackle things without ISKCON loosing its good reputation ,these things where never authorized by Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya .

I think this a step toward a better direction I have to keep the name

Not sure where this is shown. But we had a man, a presentor who wanted to start a class on gardening/ agriculture with the krisna children and eventually children of the whole city up at the krisna palace property. He was very convincing. Seemed very nice. Further research showed him to be a fraud and a child predator. So for anything to keep our children safer!

The fact that we have to sign a petition in order to have this zero-tolerance, years after the first wave of abuse was reported, the fact that it's not already enforced, is an indignation for ISKCON. The leaders should be ashamed of themselves.

Sad and disappointing to hear that such acts of child abuse have not be adequately dealt with so far. However, I hope that this documentary which has shed some light on this important matter will lead to all within Iskcon taking responsibility to eliminate bad behaviours and that an appropriate structure is with accountable leadership is quickly put in place with the right measures to avoid re-occurrence.
