Hare Krsna, thank you for bringing this horrible truth to light. I had thought that this had passed as I was brought up in peaceful little New Zealand. We have had our rough time with the Hare Krishna school, but since I arrived there, and during my time there it has been a model school, thanks to the best principle and teachers like Prana Prabhu and Vimala Mataji, if anyone should run schools or be in charge of child protection it should be them, or my mother, a qualified social worker whose job is to make sure foster children are safe: physically, mentally and spiritually. My husband went to mayapur gurukula for 14 years and suffered his share of abuse and saw others suffering. He wrote to the child protection ISKCON agency representitive several times to share what he went through and did not get a reply once. things need to change.

Speaking against child abuse and signing this petition as our intolerance to child abuse is the least we can do to serve Srila Prabhupada's mission of spreading Krishna Consciousness to the human society.. Hare Krishna... Jai SRila Prabhupada!! Haribol!

Why are parents still sending their children to these monsters? Close the schools!
Why are communities still inviting these criminals into their homes and temples?
We have the power to stop this going further. Just wake up, stand up and break the cycle.

Shocking what abuse Hare Krsna children endured at these religious institutions. There should be zero tolerance of any abuse in the future. In the past money was given to compensate these abuses and the abusers are still big men in the society with supportive big friends. Prabhupada will not be pleased.

All the abusers must be sent to jail and dealt with according to the law! It's a great mistake not to report these crimes to proper authorities outside the Hare Krishna movement.
