Zero Tolerance on the Abuse of Hare Krishna Children

ISKCON leaders need to stop turning a blind eye to the children. I don't understand how the leaders can sleep at night knowing these children are being hurt and doing nothing about it. Shame on you

Let us have compassion for those children who were abused. Stop the karmic cycle. Legally prosecute all those who have done this horrible offense. If the society refuses to help, then include in the prosecution those leaders who hide and protect these crimes and criminals.

That Gurus and GBC allow places them in same seat as Evil Pope.

Any kind of child abuse is not acceptable.

Child abuse in any form is abhorrent and unacceptable and wholly against the principles Srila Prabhupada set out. ISKCON in its current state is not obeying Srila Prabhupada and this is yet another symptom of this. It needs to be rooted out immediately and allow the next generation of devotees to perpetuate Lord Chaitanya's and Srila Prabhupada's mission as they desired it.

This is the most important video and every devotee must see it. It has broken my heart and shaken my faith in ISKON. I know from life experience that when such criminality is exposed, it is only the tip of the iceberg of what is actually occurring. I have been present at lectures from at least one of the persons named in this video and believed them to be sincere but now I see how wrong I was.

I heartily support these long overdue efforts to cleanse ISKCON of the aparadh of child abuse. My praise goes out to those who have taken on this task. This epitomizes saintly conduct.

Anyone who is aware of the past might rightly ask, "how is it possible that this nonsence is still going on?!" Its possible because of so called (non existent) "self policing". A duplicitous culture that encourages tolerating the intollerable. Statements like "don't air our dirty laundry", "it will cause new and young devotees to loose faith" "Its offensive to talk mention, such offensive acts".. Let the proper leaders handle it", and a slew of similar statements meant to shame, scare anyone who questions or speaks out. The real point being even when there maybe many sincere devotees in the society, there is a pervasive culture of dishonesty, where abusive behavior from some unqualified leaders, who often are Guru's, Swami's that subtley abuse their own disciples and followers, by discouraging them from using their Krishna given intelligence, discourage them from trusting Their own intuition when they see abuse, (with intimidation) in its many insidious forms. When leaders seem to have plenty of funds to fly around the world, go to spa's, have many of their own private living quarters, medical treatment, etc.. and some of Whom are known to have amazed private fortunes while many other devotees in their realm with much need are entirely neglected.. (Children Elderly, Sick) this IS a widely accepted "privileged" form of abuse. With this lopsided abuse by the unconcerned, unqualified leaders, it is only (perversely) "natural" that toleration of other forms of abuse take place. Unsolicited recommendation: Give up your private bank accounts, pass on your positions, to the next generation, retire to chant live a simple humble life, pray for forgiveness, pray to bhakti devi. otherwise your fancy "samadhi" mandhirs will only be gathering places for pigions.
