There should be internal ISKCON policies that are in keeping with the highest standards of legal accountability on a global basis - therefore no allowance that in developing countries or similar claims that the law is less rigorous. No, the highest legal standards should prevail and be aligned with the highest spiritual standards. The society is international so it must set the highest available knowledge base and standards for ALL Iskcon centres, activities and involvements, not only schools. It has clearly come to a point where boarding schools are not what they were intended and there should be a move towards more day school focus with legal, spiritual and moralistic compliance. I'm horrified at the extent of this issue and it is not what we condone or want to support as devotees. As a mother, grandmother and professional person I believe ZERO tolerance means that - ZERO tolerance. We cannot preach the teachings of Krishna and Prabhupada and brush abuse under the carpet. Report them all to the legal authorities, let them take their punishment, preach KC for their souls but they (perpetrators) should never be in the environment of freely associating, congregating or managing programmes where children and/or vulnerable adults are.

This is very disturbing information and I applaud the devotee who is so brave and courageous to confront and expose the truth about the abhorrent behavior of some people in ISKCON leadership positions. May Lord Nrsimhadev protect such devotees.
