I have been scouting out the waste bins near the grill all week and the amount of plastic heading to the landfill is still far too high. This reality proves we need to push harder for compost bins in the dining area. I am currently finalizing my notes for the meeting with the management team to show them that our campus community expects a better standard.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one tired of watching perfectly good scraps end up in the trash every lunch hour. This support proves that our campus community expects more from our food providers.

SO much plastic wasted every single day. We need to do better.
If the tea room can do it why cant they? Seems like a no brainer.
Finally someone said it. The waste there is insane.
The amount of trash in MacCorry after lunch is actually gross. Please just switch to compostable stuff already.
Would love to see more green initiative on campus. This is a great idea.

Been waiting for this. tired of throwing my lunch box in the trash thinking it should be composted.
