When and if we have individuals who are actually causing problems because of public alcohol consumption, we should deal with those individuals on a case-by-case basis. We do not need government imposing arbitrary and intrusive restrictons on the lives of ordinary law-abiding citizens and the area businesses they patronize.

As someone who works on Main St I have seen the incredible impact local events have on business with the current alcohol ordinances being a huge contributing factor. I would love to see the impact continue to help Zelie flourish and thrive. Please don't vote to have these ordinances changed!

The ability to sample the alcohol from the various establishments on Main Street this past summer and fall has been such a treat! It’s one of my favorite things about the small town culture in Zelienople!! Don’t change a thing!

One would have to wonder if the PD even has any incident reports pertaining to alcohol complaints on file pertaining to Sip & Stroll night. This is would be a public record and should be brought to light if in fact there were problems. I didn't see a one all summer and saw plenty, PLENTY of families with little ones enjoying themselves weekly. Do not harm the businesses and town any further by making more restriction that do not need to be made.

This ordinance makes zelie unique and helps to draw in tourism. The community has proven it can maintain a good standing without leaving alcohol get out of control. By banning public consumption of alcohol, the board takes an easy out rather than solving any issues they have through a logical and modern approach which could further seize potential opportunities in a thriving region.
Keep it how it is. It kept business going!
Please keep the existing alcohol ordinance.
