Zebra Crossing outside St Thomas Becket Primary School

It's been too long without lollipop person ....accident waiting to happen ! !

so difficult to cross here with the traffic congestion and parked cars make visibility poor

I am surprised we are even debating this ...

This is a necessary service to ensure the safety of the children who cross here but also to help keep the traffic moving and reducing angry confrontations from.occurring.

reinstate now for safety's sake.....

A crossing or patrol is needed as Birchanger road is a busy road. Many vehicles pass through this road that are not related to the school these vehicles pass at speed with no regard to the school. A crossing would prove beneficial to the residents too to cross this busy road.

i support this petition. Birchanger road is extremely busy and difficult to cross during the morning and afternoon when children need to cross

It's a very dangerous crossing mainly due to so many cars being parked and the lack of visibility.

It's very much needed, safety is a major issue, have 2 children in this school and I'm worried it's only a matter of Tim before something very serious happens.

Without it the road is very dangerous for the school kids

It is very important that St Thomas Becket to get a patrol Officer and a pedestrian crossing at Birchanger rd for our children's safety. Act on it before any harm happens to our kids.

I would like the zebra crossing officer to be replaced. Especially as part of the children's safety and safeguarding. It is critical that this matter be dealt with as soon as possible.....let's not wait for something traumatic to happen....all this can be avoided. Best wishes

Reinstate traffic patrol for safety of the children

Quite imperative to have one as the traffic on that road during peak times very busy .

It would make crossing the road by children and families a lot safer.

I have witnessed a number of children crossing the road unsupervised when it was clearly dangerous and having to either run to the other side or step back onto the pavement quickly. I am sure an accident is inevitable in this situation.

Safty is most important for all kids I reported that some drivers last time is so crazy and stupid
