The 17 Oxford West is the primary bus for taking students to Z Building, since the 36 Airport/Industrial only runs at certain times.
For students who are taking buses such as the 14 Highbury, 20 Cherryhill, or 4 Oxford East to Fanshawe's Main campus, the extra amount of travel can be frustrating at best. It could mean adding a second or third bus to your travel plans just to get to Z Building.
Two viable options Fanshawe could put in place:
-Create a shuttle bus that runs every 30 or 60 minutes between Main Campus and Z Building.
-Bargain with LTC to extend any of the following routes so that they end at Z Building instead of Main Campus:
-4 Oxford East
-20 Cherryhill
-25 Kilally
-27 Fanshawe College
Fanshawe has ways of making transportation to Z Building easier, but the bottom line is that SOMETHING needs to be done!

The stories shared by students about their long winter commutes have made it clear that this campus access issue is far more widespread than I initially realized. I am currently compiling these experiences into a report to present to the administration to demonstrate the necessity of better transit connections.

Reaching this level of support confirms that the daily transit struggle between campuses is a shared frustration rather than an individual inconvenience. It is encouraging to see so many people acknowledge that better access to Z Building is a necessary improvement for our community.

So tired of being late for class because the bus schedule is a joke. Either get us a shuttle or add more routes, it is basic common sense.
literally just make the 4 go to Z building. it makes no sense that it stops at main when half our classes are way over there. fix it.

Living in London during winter is hard enough without having to wait in the freezing cold for a bus that never comes. Walking that far in the snow is not an option.
