Z-47 is Not Good for Cobb County, the Community or the Chattahoochee

This project doesn’t belong on this side. It will destroy many aspects of Wildwood that make it a unique work environment...it’s surrounded by tres. This project calls for the leveling of the land, and therefore the destruction of the vegetation. Further and more importantly it also poses a major threat to the Chattahoochee river. Moreover, the amount of traffic in the area is already beyond what any of us want to deal with. This project will add thousands of more vehicles clogging the roadways. We do not want it here. We didn’t want the stadium either. Will you ignore us on this too. Maybe you’ll even artificially double our property value again to pay for it, much like you did with the stadium.

No! Do not remove vegetation and build more apartments!

This is not good for property values and we do not need more apartments in the area. Should be zoned for restaurants or offices that bring jobs.

Keep the Wildwood area clean...to may cars, apartments, and pollution

Please protect our natural resource, the Chatahoochee, and stop more overdevelopment of apartment buildings!

There is a glut of apartments in this area. Many are unleased, being completed or planned. Adding this many units will make a busy intersection at Powers Ferry/Parkwood Circle a nightmare. Permanent housing options are needed moreso over rental units.

I’m totally against clearing out trees and building more appartments. We have enough already. We need to keep the green space in this area. This is one of the features of living in this area.

Against redevelopment of Z-47, Restaurant Row.

In addition to environmental concerns, the traffic congestion on Powers Ferry is all ready a problem. With the new townhouse developments on Windy Hill and Windy Ridge Pkwy, the new apts at Windy Ridge/Powers Ferry, the 300 unit apts proposed for Terrill Mill/Powers Ferry, the apts on Windy Hill and Interstate N Parkway, the area is very saturated for the current infrastructure.

We do not need more apartment developments in an already congested area.

Enough is enough!!!

I own a townhome in Wildwood. I do not want to see any more apartments added to the Wildwood area. There will be too much added traffic. If we must add residences, make them owner occupied and beautifully landscaped.

We do not need any additional apartments in this area. Congestion is already horrible in the morning and afternoons.

There are already too many apartments in the area...plus the environmental impact makes this undesireable.

No more apartments. No more traffic. Period!

It was bad enough with Z-12 being manipulated to allow a 50 acre development to put squeezed onto 23.9 acres, and now another over-reaching plan! This is in addition to the DOT verifying existing traffic is rated "F". Where is common sense, ethics, Truth, intelligence and honesty?

I am totally against this development. Will be an eyesore and more apartments are not needed.

green space should be the #1 priority for this area ... keep the trees as they protect the river. no need for more rental apartments as the occupants would not have a long term vested interest in the community as would owner occupied townhomes and condos. a less ambitious, enviromentally friendly plan should be the main focus. no need to rush this ... let's get it right. this area is the gateway to cobb county ...make it attractive. add a trader joe's or sprouts to the list of potential businesses.
