This is a Park Bond 2006 property, so the County should consider buying it. Also, the current plan would overwhelm the schools. A school-zoned area should not have so many houses to be built at any one time.

Honor your commitment to make it a park, as the owners wished. Man-up.

I personally new the Ellis family and Mrs Ellis always spoke about her property being saved from developers so that it would be a nature preserve and park for people to enjoy for many years.

The proposed density of 1.9 u.p.a. does not fit with surrounding neighborhood. Rezoning to allow this the density will cause more traffic, more storm run-off, and more crowded classrooms. Deny case Z-47-2016

There are a number of issues with this proposal (1)The current infrastructure of roads can't accommodate the current traffic on Dallas Highway and Barrett Parkway. Until the city has a solve for how they can handle this (especially with Dallas to Whitlock) there needs to be a pause of further congestion. (2) Current school system is already overcrowded and this would put an added strain on teachers as well as students. (3) This property is partially planned to be developed on Nose Creek and their is a floodplan. The disturbance of trees and brush in this area will augment a flood problem and is not a stable foundation for new homes to be built. Brenda Doychak

Middle and high school that this will feed into are already overcrowded. Middle school is the biggest in cobb. Quit letting greed drive development!!

Too much congestion already on Whitlock and Dallas Highway! Enough is enough.

Nob Ridge and the surrounding area under consideration are safe and peaceful areas. The proposed development will significantly alter the landscape and create additional traffic, further overcrowding of schools, and diminish the quality of life.

The home density will be too great. The amenities will be too close to Nob Ridge. The traffic will worsen. I say no to rezoning.

We need to slow down the building the understructure is to weak to hold anymore traffic. All the roads now need at least 1 more lane either direction to smooth out the mess we have now ,there is a easy fix to slowing growth and still make property values rise and taxes stay even.Put a lot size restriction on the whole county on new developments like 1 acre or 1.5 and so on,the houses will be larger $$ and will keep are home values steady or slowly increasing

Leave the zoning as it is.

Schools are overcrowded. Traffic is getting worse. Please make keeping West Cobb quieter and less congested a high priority for a better quality of life here. Thank you.

No more traffic on Whitlock. I can't even turn out of my neighborhood on to Whitlock Ave. in the morning to take my kids to school.
