This issue and the cemetery issue on Macland can BOTH be blamed on our "BOC" being greedy and wanting to line their pockets.

This in addition to the cemetery that's being built, OMG! Plus, we in the Macland Corridor were not even notified of the cemetery UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. They have leveled the whole corner at John Petree and Macland - and I am sure this same process was used with this plot of land. The "Board of Commissioners" needs to be gone - the DO NOT HAVE OUR BEST INTERESTS at heart - these are the same commissioners who "let" the cemetery slip through!

No more development! The reason most of us settled in West Cobb is because of the space (most homes have land) and the quiet. If they cannot build with the current zoning regulations, they can not build!

I live off John Ward Road and ask you deny this rezoning request. Why do the homeowners always have to bear the brunt of developers having to make top dollars on our backs? They don't live here and have to drive the roads, and have their children in school in trailers. Traffic is impossible now and putting 190 homes/ probably 400 cars on Whitlock and Macland is ridiculous. Please deny the rezoning

West Cobb has become so crowded that you can't go anywhere without sitting in traffic burning gas & adding to pollution. How can anyone think that increasing the housing density is going to improve anything? Deny this!!!

Roads cannot handle more traffic than at present. Local schools already overcrowded. Additional population will burden all taxpayers. Land should be kept to enjoy our country's history and heritage.

Our family enjoys the battlefield area for recreation and quality of life. This will drive us away from engaging in those activities. This will lower our frequency of bringing business to Marietta Square and other areas.
