I am not a student at YWLA but I have many friends that have attended. Eradicating Mandarin as an option for students is a step towards students not having the freedom of learning.

I am a current YWLA student enrolled in the AP Chinese course. Ms Chen has been a crucial part of my education and has helped me develop a love for not only the language, but the culture as well. To deprive students of these opportunities would be incredibly saddening because Ms Chen is an amazing educator.
