I am concerned about how tall this building is. If it could be structured similarly to the other two retirement homes, it would be more tasteful. I am also concerned about the traffic increase for a very busy road already.

I am completely against this project being adjusted or rezoned in any manner. This structure will completely overshadow the neighbourhood and make an already busy street hectic beyond what is acceptable and unsafe for a residential area full of young families.

The new building will be too tall, worsen the traffic.
We just moved in to the neighborhood and we are already struggling with the traffic sometimes !. Not to mention the unbalanced skyline of the area. Having costco plaza is more than enough in my opinion,

I agree with that proposal to have the height of the building match the surrounding homes in the area.

Too tall. Does not fit in with the neighbourhood. Why the entrance and loading docks have been positioned to face existing residences shows little respect for the existing community. Agree with others who have highlighted the increased traffic issues.

The shopping centre across from this lot already made enough traffic, builing a retirment home on this lot will make it worse and not a friendly neighbourhood for young family and children.

When I bought my house, I was told by both Richcraft and Claridge that the lot was was for commercial use and that we can expect a strip mall at the end of Maravista. With the addition of Costco, there is already too much traffic okntge street; the addition of a seniors home will only worsen that problem. Further, a six story building in the middle of a bunch of townhomes not only obstructs the view but is out of place. The seniors home should move to the other side of Strandherd.

I am against the height of the building, it should be just 2-3 levels which will blend in with the residential area better. I am also against the parking on the street. The traffic is bad enough now.

Retirement homes....are just that....RETIREMENT homes. The area is too busy for that kind of building, and there will definately be lodging issues and complaints, as well as a safety hazard for children and families that was CREATED if this proposal goes through. There is also a large community of people who would be directly affected who have voiced their concerns effectively, and that has to be taken into account.

The street is already too busy, there won't be enough parking, the tall building will block sunlight, and it will cause too much congestion in a family neighborhood.

Not a good idea! I completely disagree with proposal. Building is too high. Traffic is already too high for a residential zone.
