This Pacific neighborhood will be disturbed thanks to this building. 3 storey max please. They need to consider the factors considered by the adjacent homeowners when they purchased their houses. The Sunlight is a key factor for sure. Lack of parking is a problem.

This proposed structure is an eyesore in the middle of a residential area and will block light from the homes on Chesapeake Crescent. A smaller, less intrusive structure would fit into the neighbourhood much better

With so few guest parking spots, it is going to put a strain on street parking in front of people's homes, which is already an issue. I don't believe there is the additional infrastructure to keep adding homes and people to the neighborhood. For example, that area of Strandherd is always very busy, and was so before all the stores recently opened, and since has only become worse since.

I’m concerned about the retirement residence at Maravista drive. The street is already way to busy with the new commercial park across the street, we don’t need more. This street is suppose to be in a calm neighbourhood. This year there was an incident of someone trying to break in, I can’t imagine what would happen to this neighbourhood if they proceed with that project - I would definitely move out.

Not only will this drive down property values, but it will most definitely increase traffic. At the very least, please build these residences to the same specifications as the other nearby retirement places.

The height of this building needs to be in keeping with the neighbourhood. A 6 storey building in the middle of a townhouse community makes no sense. There are no buildings of any similarity in any community like this to compare to. The back entrance also needs to be relocated. For the safety of the residents and community who live here on Chesapeake Crescent and around it - the back service entrance to the building should be relocated as well. Facing strandherd with access to strandherd or at least off of Maravista where it’s more of a main vein for deliveries makes the most sense.

Since I have young children and a teenager, I am not happy about the increase in traffic this residence will mean for our neighbourhood. In the four years I've resided here, traffic has gotten insane and it will be even worse with this new complex. At the very least, I would hope that the complex would be in keeping with the other two nearby retirement residences.

When we bought our townhouse in summer 2018, we were told that there is a plan for another set of townhouses and this side of the subdivision is ONLY for residential purposes. We have two young children - 2 and 10 years old, we already live close to busy intersection and we are not looking forward to make it even more busy. We disagree to lower the value of our life and the value of our property due to somebody's commercial intentions. We also do not wish commercial stores built next to our home. The other side of residential area - Strandherd Drive Business area was meant for commercial purposes. We are concern regarding the heights of the proposed building, as it will look completely different from the surrounding houses design and again will lower the value of the neighbourhood.

I disagree with a special permission being granted to a contractor for such a high building. The neighbouring streets are already difficult at times and adding exterior parking would make the situation worse.

Since I have a family with two children, one who is almost a toddler, I'm very concerned about the safety of my children primarily because of an even greater traffic congestion on our road. It has been hard enough with the traffic from Costco since it was built.
