friends of ours just bought their house so they could be walking distance to an elementary school, it would be a shame for them to lose this as an option.

To bus children that young when a school specifically built for THEIR neighborhood is beyond ridiculous!

Kids should go to neighborhood schools, not be bussed long disances.

We bought in this subdivision so our child could go to the school in our neighborhood

Being that I have children in BGS, I would like to keep my boys there! My son has a hard time adapting to changes & by moving him to a new school would be difficult. Just because my subdivision is annexed to Yorkville School does not mean it can change to boundaries willy nilly without really researching what the actual problem is. 6th graders belong with middle school kids, not in an elementary school. Some Yorkville Schools have already redistributed ECC throughout various schools. Do your research Yorkville School District 115 & listen to your taxpayers first, then propose solutions.

I think it's important that young students don't have to readjust to new schools often. The move from preschool to kindergarten is hard enough without making them move again after kindergarten. I think we need to look into moving the six graders into the middle schools. Sixth-graders belong with seventh and eighth graders more than they belong with K through fifth graders.

My kindergartener had a very difficult time adjusting to a new school this year. I ask the district to reconsider a decision that, for me, would bring my daughter back to square one; an unproductive school year.

One of the MAIN reasons we chose to build and move in Autumn Creek was because of the school being so close. Now, a year after we moved in, I'm being told that my children may not even be able to attend kindergarten at the school that's right across the street from our house? I have three small children that could potentially be affected by this change and I'm not halt about it. I pay enough in taxes that I should have a say-so in this matter!

The reason we stayed in Yorkville rather than move away was because the elementary school is right down the street from our new construction.
