Yellow Creek Ravine Remediation

I regularly walk and run through this ravine trail system, and it's an incredible green environment in need of management.

The ravine is a source of life for many creatures and both a physical and mental respite from our crazy daily lives.

I have donated monthly to the Toronto Conservation Authority for 8 years and have very much enjoyed this ravine and many other parks and nature settings in this city. I would very much appreciate for this ravine to continue to be taken care of :)

It's a piece of paradise right outside my work where I can enjoy a few minutes of nature's splendour just steps away from Yonge St.

We love the ravine and walking the trails and paths with our dogs. We are veterans of the Bruce Trail and the Camino so we appreciate a good stroll in a lovely setting. Please preserve this precious and irreplaceable part of our city.

I and so many others enjoy using the ravine and will be happy to have the city tend to it before too much erosion occurs

I love this forest in the city. We can't live on concrete and glass only.

As visitors we were delighted to discover this trail system right in the middle of the city. We highly encourage whatever measures are necessary to keep this resource viable now and in the future. We would also recommend publicizing this trail system to visitors, making it a little easier to find, and even setting aside dedicated parking lots to make it more accessible.

As a frequent user of the Yellow Creek Ravine I know this beautiful asset is in desperate need of remediation. This initiative has my full support.

This ravine remediation should start a.s.a.p.

Yellow Creek Ravine must be saved! There are so few places in downtown Toronto that provide a natural tranquil area for wildlife to survive & thrive. Toronto's wildlife are an important part of the city even if they don't pay taxes. We all need more GREEN in this city & less multimillion $$ condos!

Let's start protecting the creek and ravine slopes now before too late in detoriation !

The ravine is a mess. Stairs and railings are falling apart. One bridge has been washed out for more than 10 years, except for a few weeks when it was supposedly fixed. The city should make fiving the ravine a priority

This ravine is an essential part of the community, providing a much needed release from the noise of the city. Please keep it healthy.

The Vale of Avoca has been a natural refuge for me since I moved to the city almost 40 years ago. Even the casual visitor is quickly aware of some of the dangerous instability of the steep banks. I hope steps will be taken to stabilize the Vale very soon.

We must maintain the ecosystems downtown. I walk my dog and I bicycle in the ravine regularly. There is a lot of trash that needs attention as well. I also would be happy to volunteer time for this. purpose.

I fully support maintaining the green ecosystems in urban areas. I enjoy the ravine regularly and feel that the neglect also encourages trashing. I'd like to see not just the infrastructure maintained but the waterways and green areas cleaned from debris. I'd be happy to volunteer time for this purpose. Thanks for initiating this petition.

Our ravines are a glorious urban asset, unique to our community with a number of large trees, many of them old.. Erosion has become a major problem. Yellow Creek is in desperate need of updated water management and planning.

I support the request that TRCA develop and implement a plan to remediate Yellow Creek. I am a resident of Deer Park n'hood and support the value of the Vale of Avoca highly as a natural feature of this area.
