Excellent idea in order to differentiate us from the other side of the Yarra - being Docklands.
Less confusing - also limits explaining where we actually are located.

This is long overdue. Our area is not really the Docklands that everyone in Melbourne knows. We are ditinctly different and changing the postcode to Yarra’s Edge 3007 would be more representative of our community.

Will the name change cost us extra money
I’m resident for 8 years and happy either way but not really keen for Yarra edge we have more important issues to deal with maybe we can build
The name into the new tram stop that will be built soon over the river just don’t want extra expenses

Actually it can be called Yarra a edge, the middle Collins st should be called Victoria harbour and the top end can be called new quay all with same post code get rid of docklands name And move forward as docklands has a terrible name in the community

Yarras Edge is very distinct from Docklands and Yarras Edge is more descriptive and deserves unique postcode
