I think this is ridiculous. Now they don't want us to have yardsales. Are I should say want money for our yard sales why don't the city worry about the way these streets are. And all the abandon places here!!! Are something for are youth and kids to do here. You already rob us on our water bills you pay more for the damb trash that only gets picked up once a week if we are lucky!!! Come on this is ridiculous. What else is next. This town is already sad enough worry about more things other then ppl having a damb yard sale.

Limited but more than 4. There are some people who actually operate their yard sales as a business and avoid a business license and GRT.

I do not think it's right to limit us (the community) to having yard sales!. They should think about other issues that is really wrong with this town such as all the abandoned business/ houses that's the real eye sore of the town an distractions while driving. I was born and raised here there is nothing wrong with the yard sales that have always been going on since I was young and the signs being displayed out in the open are not a problem such as the big eye sores I mentioned above I honestly feel that we have every right to pop up a yard or garage sale when ever we would like, we have paid for everything plus taxes for our own personal stuff I am gonna sign this petition bec DO NOT agree with them doing this to our little community that have always done this for decades after decades we are a small town not a big ol city where you have to have permission or permits I do not agree with the city's interest in making these so called new rules we should be allowed to have has many as we would like to make some money back off our own things we already purchased come on tucumcari you have way more on your plate you to settle and alot way more problem and issues that can be brought up and resolved besides pick long on the the little yard sales its pathetic tucumcari needs a change and by doing this for yard sales is nonsense there are bigger problems for you to focus on so please re consider this unnesscarry ordeal

I agree, if there's a concern about the number of signs or people not going back to take them down, then do something about that. Limiting the amount of sales is not the answer.

I have to agree with focusing on the pot holes, abandoned homes & DRUGS!!! Those items are much more important than the garage sales. Fix the REAL problems and don't worry about all the small stuff.

What a ridiculous item to focus on. I agree with the others that there are many more important things in our community to focus on. Feels like this ordinance is being aimed at a specific person or people, and that's bad, not just ethically, but because everyone else will be affected too. Leave yard sales alone, that's one of the few places we still talk to our neighbors and gain a sense of community anyway!

There is a lot more problems in this town that are way more important then a damn yard sale. Like pot holes, abondon houses, and abandon restaurants, drugs, and such.it would be nice if those sorta things got fixed first. People in this town love yard sales. We get a good deal on things we need. Not everyone has the money to just get up and buy new things. So going yard saleing is a good thing it helps people in our town to make a little extra cash and it helps people who don't have a lot of cash. Fix something that matter in this town. This town is becoming a ghost town from all this nonsense.
