Final supporters
As students, we believe it is fair that we should be allowed to wear our spirit wear whether it is a spirit day or not. The merchandise purchased through teams and clubs can be costly and is much warmer than the school rugby sweater. We understand the argument that it is not "uniform" and not all students own these products. However, the students that have spent money on extra sweaters and jackets should be allowed to wear them as long as the proper uniform is worn underneath.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you have joined this effort since I first hit publish. If we can reach that five hundred signature mark before the next meeting, the administration will have a much harder time ignoring what so many of us are asking for.

Uniforms are meant to show you're from the school and since most of the clubs sweaters look similar and go with the uniform colours they can easily allow the blue sweater be become legal.
If we can't wear our sweater during class when else are we suppose to wear it? I ain't spending $50 just to wear it to the club/team meetings and on spirit days. Since it a sweater representing the school WE SHOULD BE ALLOW TO WEAR IT.
With all the money invested into the spirit wear we should be allowed to wear it within the school. We get to show school spirit and let people know about the different sports teams and clubs of our school. It's not fair to have us buy it and not let us wear it.
Students should be allowed to wear spirit wear regardless of the day. If teams and clubs are required to purchase costly sweaters and shirts then it should be considered part of uniform.
I am a parent of a student in St. FXSS. We have spent a considerably big amount on the spirit wear in question. To say that they get to wear it for only one or two days in a year, is a total waste of our hard earned money and a waste of the world’s resources. It seems to be a ploy to make the school and McCarthy’s rich at our expense. Please allow the students to wear them to school. Going forward, just introduce a badge that can be worn on the regular school uniform (with a Velcro fastener) so that we do not have to buy the costly spirit wear.
