WWC and Chamber Opposition of New Recycling & Transfer Station in Woodinville

Alternative location(s) being considered are more appropriately located.

This family is being targeted first by Kenmore now King County. Shame on them.

This is not a right place for a facility. Nor is is right to harass this family

This area of King County has established itself over decades as a vibrant farm based tourist setting. Adding a transfer station to the vicinity will detract from the aesthetic of this unique rural pocket in King County. The tourist/service industry will certainly be adversely impacted from an economic perspective. Increase in traffic, as a result of a new transfer station, is also a point of concern as the infrastructure is already stressed to capacity limits.

putting a transfer station anywhere near the tourist district of Woodinville is a TERRIBLE idea. It is completely counter to what has been a long term effort to cultivate a certain 'ambience' in Woodinville's tourist district.

Please don't put this in the Woodinville tourist district

I oppose this proposal.

I oppose this proposal because it will negatively affect our community in the immediate future and for generations to come. Also the proximately to a stream and Sammamish river is very concerning.

The negative environmental and economic impacts to this neighborhood should be enough to kill this project. But the traffic impact must be considered. Vehicle access to this location is very poor. Did anyone in a decision capacity actually travel to and from I-405 or WA-522? The ridiculous traffic congestion that exists now at the railroad trestle over 131st Ave NE is bad enough without adding the additional pressure from a recycling and transfer station.

Oppose any recycling centers near or in Woodinville wine district and along the west ridge in Woodinville

Please keep Woodinville the tourist destination visitors want to go to. Traffic, smells etc. could hurt the area.

There isn't space at this location for a transfer station. Please build in a more suitable site.

With traffic as it is and increasing at an alarming rate, large trucks driving through Woodinville are a negative.

Our household is against a Woodinville Transfer Station....when this began, we shared we were for Kirkland Transfer Station...thank you.

The roads between the freeway and this location cannot begin to handle the volume of trucks and cars this will add. Kirkland sites have much better access. Reuse sites you have or the park and ride.
