The facility would sit immediately next to a greenbelt and be an uphill stone’s throw from the Sammamish River and Trail. Why are we putting a refuse site near the Sammamish River Trail? I suppose there is nothing like a fresh whiff of garbage on your morning run? The access road is a narrow one is already incurring a heavy traffic load (and will continue to due to new neighborhood construction). I do not have faith in any environmental impact study that would approve this site. Find a site with fewer impacts (traffic, tourism, children’s health/safety and the environment).

This is not what people want to see or deal with in the middle of the wine district. The area has done a lot to preserve this atmosphere

Do not build a new transfer station on Woodinville-Redmond Road. Traffic on this road is already heavy and increasing with new development in the immediate area.

Please, reconsider placing the transfer station in Woodinville. The traffic on the road in question is already awful and only increasing with new homes and businesses going in the area.

There is no way the infrastructure alone would handle the traffic not to mention a complete sensory sore to the only tourist district on the a east side which is poised to become a very prosperous area. Pick a different spot.

Inadequate location due to poor access to freeway and already congested intersection. Very negative impact to school, trails, sport fields, home residence and bikers nearby.

Congestion on that particular location on Highway 202 is very high during rush hour (2pm-6pm weekdays). The intersection Redmond-Woodinville Rd NE and NE 175th St is already problematic. This will have a very negative impact to the visitor/tourist district area. A transfer station should have a more direct and wide access to the freeway to accommodate heavy traffic with large vehicle.

This is a horrible location for a transfer station. Between the traffic for concerts and winery events and the establishment of this area as a tourist destination this doesn't make any sense. Best option is to expand the current Houghton location.

Why would government ruin a touristic place?
It is insane and makes no sence. Please let it stays as beautiful as it is nobody would come to touristic place if there is also garbages there.

I have previously expressed my opinion that the best option is to expand the existing Houghton transfer station, not create a new one.

A transfer station this close to a school, beer and wine tourism, and bike/running path would be a strategic long term disaster. Increase in traffic, litter, rodents, safety, noise. Downtown Woodinville would be negatively impacted by this.

This would distract from the bucolic Woodinville wine district. This would be a very bad decision to locate in Woodinville.
