Please come up with an alternative. This is a beautiful area. The smell of the transfer station alone is at least a mile radius. Don’t subject the residents and the businesses to this.

It would be devastating to have that in the area. Not only Extra Noise,but traffic is bad now. Especially 2:00 to 5:00 long belayes. And now trucks get stuck at Cut shop intersection bottoming out . And what about the blue heron that nest in water area behind tracks. Just a stupid place, you have two other sites at freeway entrance with better road conditions. Also taking many good paying taxes from businesses,that will more then likely close up for good and Employees out of jobs. Make the smart decision .Not in Woodinville.... Will change the hole atmosphere of Woodinville. More then likely stop going there

King County already has a closed transfer station in Kirkland, why destroy these businesses when there is already one available?

No Transfer Station in Woodinville.
The county would have to spend millions forcing out two properties with thriving businesses, removing these properties from the tax roll. The county already owns the Kirkalnd site.

What is the County thinking? You already have a Transfer Station in Kirkland why not update that station instead of taking property off the tax roles.

Putting a transfer station at this location would be a HUGE mistake….. not just for regular traffic, BUT can you just imagine how bad it will be with the added Ste Michelle Concerts traffic added. VERY VERY BAD LOCATION….. I’m sure the other two locations would be much better.

Not a good site for a transfer station. Already a busy road that you can barely get anywhere on, especially when there are concerts at Ste. Michelle. Please put this someplace else!

Woodinville is NOT the ideal location for an additional Transfer Station! It's already getting nightmarish with traffic, and adding additional non-revenue producing traffic will further slow business. There is no viable access that would mitigate traffic if the facility is placed within our boundaries. We already contend with additional traffic, and strewn waste on city streets from the existing Cascade Recycling Center on NE 190th St.
The impact of additional negative impact facilities is vast. This community is not a dump! The Kirkland proposal has far less negative impact and has far better access. Logic dictates...

I can't see any benefit in putting the station in Woodinville. Displacing and disrupting existing businesses and oh by the way does the county think it would be helpful to tourism by having pickups loaded with junk and garbage rolling through our beautiful wine country?
