Keeping our waterways clean should be paramount. Placing a new solid waste transfer station near a waterway is irresponsible.

It's illogical to locate something like a transfer station in an agricultural/tourist destination. With thoughtful planning, Woodinville can be quite special. Urban planning on all levels requires forward thinking, logical, big picture thought processes. Every potential business or use of land should be carefully scrutinized so as to create a well-balanced community. If Woodinville looks to become what it has the enormous potential of becoming as well as protect the remaining bit of agricultural land, then a transfer station does not fit into the overall development plan and doors not enhance the community. Think about it!

Totally disagree with the transfer station in Woodinville because that put a hundred of employees at the risk- unemployment. Woodinville city also is a nice place for many guests come to enjoy various wines.

We opposed Woodinville as the site selection. Please expand the current transfer station in Kirkland instead.
It is not fair that a locally owned business will be forced to move and basically start over. This could interfere with not only their business but as well as the people they do business with.
Not to mention that placing a waste plant in this location will impact Woodinville in a bad way

Placing a waste plant here will be of no benefit to not only the community but to the businesses here as well.
Winsome Wood Trading is a family Asian American owned business that has worked hard to get to success that they have obtained.
Tourism to the city of Woodinville and to the local stores and wineries will decrease drastically if a waste plant was placed in this location

That you would willingly upend a locally owned and operated business and put the 100 employees out of work in this economy is beyond selfish. Not to mention adversely impacting the school across the street, the wineries down the road, putting all the cyclist in harms way by adding more trucks to the area and bringing traffic to a standstill on a daily basis. Shame on you.

This is right across from a private school and on the new walking path - terrible placement. When the concerts are back at Ste. Michelle - the traffic right there will be a nightmare.

What a tragedy it would be to jeopardize one of the nations largest wine region by locating a garbage dump in Woodinville. Dumbfounded how this shortsighted recommendation was made!
