The undersigned have, in agreement, come to the conclusion that drastic changes must be made to the transportation system at West Virginia University. The Personal Rapid Transit System (PRT), which is the only practical link between the Medical, Evansdale, and Downtown campuses, has become unreliable over the course of it's existence and needs to be properly updated in order to better serve the students and faculty of West Virginia University. We hereby petition the complete restoration and update of the entire PRT system in hopes that we will one day have an effective means of travel. A drastic revamping of the PRT will provide students and faculty with an adequate means of safe transit and the ability to stay punctual for all classes and affairs. We beg that West Virginia University take the steps towards a great improvement for all parties which utilize the transportation system it provides.
